HD Projector hired
As the latest series was being filmed the series producers decided to spice up the visuals and asked what we could do to help. We had to put together a package that could be easily transported to the different filming locations around the world and also be powerful enough to provide stunning HD imagesIt wasn't like your typical projector hire in London as the African weather made things a litte more tricky for the projections. Amazingly the projector hired didn't overheat but due to the environment did suffer from getting dust in the filters which had to be changed
After the first shoot in Tanzania the producers were so happy with the results that they decided to use the projections in all the remaining episodes which normally featured half way through each episode
The idea was to have the presesenter (Brian Cox) stand in front of or next to the screen so that he could present whilst the stunning HD images were projecting onto the screen
Both rear and front projection screens were used depending on the desired effect as sometimes the producers wanted the images projected onto the presenter whilst he was in front of the screen. The projector hired was a single Quad LCD HD projector
Due to the success of the projections in the Wonders of the Universe series producers of other programmes in the BBC wanted to hire the same package and are in the process of being filmed. Watch this space

We want to make your event special and have the experience to advise on the setup that will blow your audience away and leave them wondering how it was possible. We can project onto custom made surfaces and materials and have the projectors hidden. For a more interactive setup we could make the Projector be triggered via IR so when someone approaches the projection is set off(very good for halloween events).
If you are a VJ in need of Projector Hire in London or the UK then we would be more than happy to give advice as to the best setup. Projectors are the ideal choice for VJ's in nightclubs and bars as they give the biggest bang for the buck. As these enviroments tend to be on the darker side you don't always need the brightest projector in the world to get the desired results. For ease of installation we have introduced a new range of wireless Projectors to our Hire stock which certainly cuts down installation time and can save a lot of the hassle that goes along with installing cabling at venues. We have both VGA and composite video wireless solutions available
With regards to mounting projectors on hire there are many options available. When ceiling mounting projectors we would normally use cradles as they fully support the projector and are also fully adjustable. Cradles can be hung from truss frames, metal/wooden beams, attached to bars or for more permanent installations screwed into ceilings. We use metal wire and chains to support projectors when needed though on most truss frames and beams this method is usually not neccessary. Projector stands are also available to hire for more straight forward setups. We stock simple telescopic stands that can be easily adjusted and can also have side shelves attached for laptops and DVD players. This makes for easy wiring to the projector with short cables and no mess. Larger projectors can also be set on stands and for this we use twin poled plasma style stands with short poles
